Welcome to Construction Resource Group, LLC. We're dedicated to launching individuals into rewarding careers in the skilled trades through our comprehensive pre-apprenticeship programs. Starting with carpentry, we're building a foundation for success for women, veterans, justice-involved individuals, and underrepresented communities in Akron, Ohio and beyond.
Our pre-apprenticeship focus
We provide hands-on training and foundational knowledge designed to prepare you for a successful career in the construction industry. Our programs are tailored to meet industry demands and empower our participants with essential skills.
Carpentry program
Our initial pre-apprenticeship program focuses on carpentry, providing essential skills in framing, finishing, and safety. Learn from experienced instructors and gain the practical knowledge needed to excel in this in-demand trade.
Expanding trades
While carpentry is our starting point, we are committed to expanding into additional skilled trades. Our vision includes offering programs in various construction specializations to meet diverse industry needs and participant interests.
Community outreach
We actively engage with workforce boards, tradeswomen organizations, HS CTE programs, community colleges, and community-based organizations to reach women, veterans, justice-involved individuals, and underrepresented communities.
Workforce development
Our programs are designed to address workforce shortages and provide employers with a pipeline of skilled, motivated professionals. We focus on practical training that leads directly to apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
